Hi, my name is Karolina. I am the creator behind Don’t Wake the Bear. That’s me in the photo, with my beloved daughter Rosie (my Assistant 
) and our friend SlumBear! You will meet us both, and maybe even SlumBear, when we come to set up your party. Can’t wait!!!
The Inspiration for Don’t Wake the Bear came from throwing and attending countless birthday parties throughout the years for and with Rosie. There is nothing more magical than the Joy of a Child. As most parents can relate, throwing a birthday party now-a-days can be a very labour-intensive process that can take weeks and even months of planning, booking, coordinating dates, prep etc. Add in the pressure of fulfilling your child’s dreams and It’s a lot of work to say the least. This is where we come in.
We transform a designated space in your home into a magical and exciting experience for your guests! Sit by the „fire” and roast marshmallows while telling stories, sing ‘Under the Sea’ with the sea urchins or pamper yourself with a spa themed party. The possibilities are endless, and the fun has just begun. Sit back, relax, and let us bring you a fully stocked sleepover. No more washing blankets, making beds or making sure everyone is entertained and comfortable. We got this!
Don’t Wake the Bear is a family run business here in Lethbridge, which we have called home for the last 9 years. All our tents are hand crafted by my husband, and the decor is carefully chosen by me, with a focus and passion for creating magic and joy for each and every child. Our Assistant Rosie gave us the final exciting approval by testing all our party themes with her friends!
